mrod411"Here's my input re: Webjam as a blogging platform. I am an early adopter of many web services. From memory, I've used Blogger, Tumblr, WordPress, and others almost not worth mentioning by Microsoft, Yahoo, etc. Then, there's another tier of providers that I don't even recall the name of because I made one post, peeked at the features and it was not worth investing any more time in, until they increased their feature set, reliability, support, etc.

With Webjam, you're getting a more inclusive environment & the support has been evident on a personal basis. There's been a good handful of "Traffic Jams" and securing your data for backup is not an option currently. The Webjam team continues to develop features and support the product, making it better and better. They offer a certain level of transparency in their communication which makes it inviting to continue to give them a chance to mature their service. I compare it with blogging on MySpace. Having a MySpace "blog" is not the greatest selling point. It's about community, commenting, getting exposed to those you may not have gotten exposure to otherwise, etc.

A middle ground, or bridge, may be to embed a more robust blog service into one of your Webjam pages for now.

For me, it'd be nice to be able to back up my data or transfer the entries between pages via the module feature, but that could be developed later. The current tool set for blogging is fine & will serve the needs of many. Add in the other easy-to-use modules and it quickly starts to blow away other web 2.0 services, when viewed as a bundle service."

theatremayhem"Hi, I'm new to the site, I joined over the weekend. I was looking for a place to host my new club's activities, a place that was simple and easy to use but also flexible with my own graphics and customizing, something my members could also interact on, but not too expensive, so I decided to check you guys out. I have to say, you guys ROCK! I haven't found a site this great in a LONG time, I love how there's no pop up banners or obnoxious header banners, I can definitely work with the small advertisement box and not feel like I'm looking cheap. My site looks WONDERFUL! and I love all of the options you have, and the content boxes, how you can drag them, makes life so much more simple! You turned something so hard into something that's barely an hour session and actually fun. I've never felt the urge to actually send a comment to a web site hosting place, but I couldn't wait to let you know how much of an experience I've had, I've been searching all over for a place to donate or upgrade, but haven't had any luck, but when I do, I'm definitely going to look into it. Thanks for this awesome web community site, I hope it gets better and better and doesn't die like so many other great hosts out there that I've tried."

"I have only had my two sites for a very short time, and I have never had a proper website before. I can only say that the whole process has been pretty painless, made so by the prompt and helpful responses I have had to any query.
The style and layout choices are excellent and I have had many comments on how good the sites look and how user friendly they are to use.
Thank you, Webjam!"
